National provides outsourced facilities management services to Northwest. The Work Control Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact between Northwest and National having frequent contact with Northwest’s students, faculty, and staff. National endeavors to provide excellent customer service, and the candidate for this position must demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate to assist our customers.

The position serves to support National’s staff at Northwest being the primary point of contact for all incoming communication and service requests. The position is also responsible for managing the accounts payable function, assisting in preparing new-hire paperwork, and processing payroll.

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to multitask and effectively prioritize incoming service requests.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to operate a building maintenance database.
• Processing accounts payable.
• Tracking and preparing payroll reports.
• Assist in coordinating various campus events to ensure that adequate personnel and resources are available.
• Tracking and ordering various supplies as required.

Landscape Supervisor

The Landscape Supervisor reports to National’s account Director and serves to manage the daily activities of the department. Some of the specific duties of the supervisor include:

• Recruiting and retaining great associates;
• Training and coaching associates;
• Helping develop work schedules:
• Coordinating special events and activities;
• Inspecting work areas and providing associates with appropriate feedback;
• Meeting with the customer concerning issues relevant to their department; and
• Ensuring compliance with occupational safety and environmental requirements.

Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential attributes for Supervisors. In addition, great interpersonal skill and attention to providing outstanding customer service are also very important.

The landscape department is responsible for the following activities:

• Mowing lawns;
• Blowing outdoor areas;
• Edging and trimming;
• Weeding and removing leaves;
• Planting and caring for landscaped areas; and
• Other landscape duties.

To qualify for this position, applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are able to perform the technical and physical tasks of the position. They must have access to transportation to and from work. Applicants must also pass a drug screen and background check.

Custodial Supervisor

Company Description:
National Management Resources Corporation is a facilities management firm that serves the college and university market. We are currently recruiting for a Custodial Supervisor who will work for National at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington.

Job Description:
The Custodial Supervisor shall report to the Director of Facilities and will assist in the day-to-day management of the custodial department. Job duties include recruiting and training new custodial personnel, scheduling staff, inspecting work areas, and providing on-going training. The Custodial Supervisor manages supplies and ensures that employees are equipped to perform their work. This is a hands on position and the Custodial Supervisor may be called upon to conduct custodial work.

Qualifications:
The Custodial Supervisor shall be a reliable and strong leader with a good work ethic. The candidate should have at least two years experience in a lead position and basic knowledge of custodial management and technique. The applicant should be prepared demonstrate the ability to perform the physical tasks required of this job.
